Somatox T5 is another T5 fat burner available on the market. Promising yet another formula based around the original T5’s Somatox have created a fairly standard looking fat burner.

Using a blend of natural herbs and ingredients is essential for a safe fat burner. But only some of these ingredients are going to work for you.

Ingredients wise Somatox could get you some reasonable results, but there are some alarming ingredients in here.

The product does look the part which is a good sign, as it shows Somatox have spent time creating the product.

Somatox T5 Fat Burner Core Ingredients

We’re not overly impressed with the blend of ingredients in Somatox T5.

This fat burner does carry a lot of risks in each 3 capsule serving and could cause unwanted side effects.

We’re happy to see that they’ve decided to state the amount of each individual ingredient in these T5’s though.

Green Tea and L-Carnitine are perfectly safe and will get you results, but are hugely under dosed in this product. Which is a little annoying.

The caffeine level is very high, so we’d recommend an even spread of the 3 capsules.

Somatox T5 Fat Burner Ingredients

Synephrine

Also known as bitter orange or Citrus Aurantium.
Synephrine is the compound found within the unripe fruit of Citrus Aurantium. It has been shown to have the same effects as ephedra or ephedrine, without being able to be converted to methamphetamines.
It is shown to increase metabolic rate, fat break down, thermogenesis and also shown to decrease a person’s appetite.
Due to the similarities however, it can also cause similar side effects. Especially when combined with other stimulants.

Caffeine

Caffeine is a staple supplement to modern day life. It is a highly effective stimulant in how it boosts the metabolism, mobilises fat to be used as energy and suppresses appetite.
As well as this it can boost the effects of other metabolism boosting products, such as green tea or bitter orange.
It has long been used by athletes, and non-athletes alike, in order to increase alertness, endurance and longevity.
This is essential for a fat burner. You need around 250mg-300mg dosed evenly through the day for best results.

L-Carnitine

L- Carnitine is great for heart health. In particular blood vessel health and heart rhythm. It has also been shown to help those with a high cholesterol and triglyceride count.
On an athletic level, L-Carnitine can both optimise performance and increase fat burning. It carries fat directly to the mitochondria where energy is produced.
Generally L-Carnitine is better at higher doses in supplements, so is often under dosed in fat burners.

Guarana

Guarana is an incredibly effective stimulant. Its seeds contain more than double the caffeine found in coffee seeds.
Guarana contains 2-4.5% caffeine in its seed, whereas coffee only contains 1-2%.
Due to its high content of caffeine it is proficient in boosting the metabolism and increasing mental alertness.
Guarana can cause side effects due to it’s caffeine content and shouldn’t be mixed with other stimulants.

Green Tea

Green Tea is very popular amongst health and fitness enthusiasts in recent times. Especially as it has been found that when combined with caffeine, it can boost your metabolism far beyond what caffeine can do alone.
Studies have shown that it can increase your metabolism to the point of burning an extra 200 calories a day without added exercise. 500mg of Green tea is perfect in a fat burner.

Somatox T5 Fat Burner Dose

3 capsules per day is a great serving structure for a fat burner.

It ensures you are kept topped up with ingredients and your body can focus on using them to burn off more energy and use stored fat as fuel.

The big problem here is that while you are getting a good serving size, the doses of some risky ingredients are too high and the contents in the fat burner could be a problem.

Green tea is dosed far too low and has proven fat burning benefits. Guarana and Bitter orange are known to cause side effects, especially when mixed with other stimulants. Be cautious.

Somatox T5 Fat Burner Side Effects

Side effects from high doses of Bitter Orange and Caffiene can include: Headaches, nausea, sickness and even anxiety.

Due to the high dose of this in each capsule of Somatox T5 you can probably expect this side effect to occur, which could be very frustrating.

You ideally need to be completely side effect free for any fat burner you buy to work.

Somatox T5 Fat Burner Review Conclusion

This is probably the 1000th fat burner that is trying to build on the T5 name.

But it’s very limited. Sure it has 5 ingredients, but the ones that are effective are under dosed.

The once that could lead to potential side effects are heavily dosed and risky too.

Serving size is pretty good, but ultimately Somatox T5 doesn’t have a patch on our top 3 fat burners.
