Scitec Nutrition Turbo Ripper Fat Burner Supplement Review

Turbo Ripper is a fat burner that has been said to deliver fat burning benefits by promoting higher energy, fat loss, and a higher levels of metabolism. Of course, these kinds of promises are normal for most fat burners, but is there anything that sets the Turbo Ripper apart from the rest?

The fat burner supplement is produced by a company called Scitec Nutrition. This same company has been known to market a bunch of other products, all of which have been backed by celebrity fitness sponsors. It’s a growing business that continues to build up their reputation by producing and marketing products that the general public seems to trust.

Of course, we’re not talking about those other products. In this case, we’re talking about the Turbo Ripper, and how it compares to other high-quality fat burners.

Scitec Nutrition Turbo Ripper Ingredients

Of course, the first and most important thing that we have to consider, are the ingredients that make up the Turbo Ripper supplement. There is quite a variety of ingredients in this formula, 11 of which are stated on the label.

Turbo Ripper

Acetyl L-Carnitine HCI

L-Carnitine is a common fat burner ingredient, it is in a lot of other fat burner supplements that are available in the market. Unfortunately, as much as these companies seem to like to use Acetyl L-Carnitine, there really isn’t enough evidence that would be able to prove its effectiveness.

In theory, Acetyl L-Carnitine is able to promote the burning of fat, it does this by providing L-Carnitine, which has been known to stimulate the energy cells inside of a human’s body. However, most studies that have been done involving the supplementation of L-Carnitine has not provided significant results.

Citrus Aurantium

Also called bitter orange extract, Citrus Aurantium is an ingredient that is often a red flag when included in fat burner supplements. There is a lot, that people have to say about this particular ingredient, but one of the important facets just happen to be, that this ingredient has shown to be harmful enough to have been banned in countries like the UK and Canada.

The nutrient Citrus Aurantium has been said to provide Synephrine. There is 500 milligrams of Citrus Aurantium per serving, a number that might prove to be too dangerous for some. Studies have shown that supplementing synephrine has been said to have lead to an “…increased heart rate in healthy adults with otherwise normal blood pressure.”

Green Tea Extract and Caffeine

These ingredients are staple, and are the base for the Turbo Ripper’s promised energy boosting benefits. The dosage seems to be slightly lower than what one would expect, especially for Caffeine- which is usually taken in doses around 200-500 mg.

L-Tyrosine is another ingredient that can be found in a lot of fat burner supplements, although the reason for having said ingredient is a little sketchy. It is best known at promoting cognitive abilities, which might help one’s focus improve. However, it’s not known to produce any actual fat burning effects.

Cayenne Pepper Extract

This is an ingredient that is confirmed to promote fairly significant fat burning results. The benefits are achieved through a thermogenic process, wherein the body’s temperature is ‘heated’ in other to induce a certain level of fat burn.

It should be noted, that much like what Turbo Ripper had done with Caffeine (too little of a dose), it seems that the amount of Cayenne Pepper Extract per serving might be a little lacking. Studies involved in observing the effect of Cayenne Pepper has showed the most effectiveness when supplemented 100 milligrams per day, whilst Turbo Ripper only has 50 milligrams.

Scitec Nutrition Turbo Ripper Dose

The daily serving accounts for 4 pills. To boost effectiveness, these pills should be taken throughout the day- which ensures that your body is receiving all the necessary nutrients 24/7.

Does the Turbo Ripper work?

Although there are some ingredients used in this supplement that has proven to be effective (like Cayenne and Caffeine), said ingredients are too lowly-dosed to produce significant results. A handful of the other ingredients are either ineffective (L-Carnitine), dangerous (Citrus Aurantium), or does not promote actual fat burning effects (L-Tyrosine.)

Where to buy Turbo Ripper?

The supplement can be purchased here, for the low price of 36.00 US Dollars. It should be said that there are only enough servings per container to account for around 25 days (if taken at the recommended daily dose.)

Scitec Nutrition Turbo Ripper Fat Burner Review

For a fat burner, this is not one that I would be able to recommend to anyone. The use of a dangerous ingredient (Citrus Aurantium) is enough of a red flag, but in general the fat burner supplement just isn’t very effective. Especially when compared to others that are available in the market.
