JST Jodie Tone X Review

This is another dietary supplement that claims to provide miracle-like results with the use of only one ingredient. The main ingredient used in JST Jodie Tone X is called conjugated linoleic acid – which is actually quite popularly used in most fat burner supplements.

Unfortunately, just because it’s often used in fat burner supplements, doesn’t mean that it’s an effective fat burning ingredient. Now, this supplement is supposedly able to provide not only fat burning results but also muscle building capabilities.

The manufacturer for this supplement is unknown. They do have several other supplements out in the market – which is probably meant to be taken all together, as the unknown manufacturer claims that this supplement is most effective when taken with others.

Ingredient for Jodie Tone X

With a product that is meant to be taken around 2 times per day, the JST Jodie Tone X would probably need higher dosages in order to be fully considered effective. This is something that needs to be considered based on the potency of the ingredient used.

As mentioned, the sole ingredient that had been used in the production of the soft gels are conjugated linoleic acids. This is an ingredient that you’re likely to run into a lot in the fat burner supplement market.

It has been theoretically proven to work, but applying that theory in life has yet to produce any positive results – whether it be fat burning or building up lean muscle mass.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid in Fat Burner Supplements

Conjugated Linoleic Acids are actually fatty acids, believe it or not. This fatty substance is said to stimulate a system called PPAR in order to promote fat burn. This theory would back up the claim of fat burner supplements that use this supplement, especially the one that manufactured JST Jodie Tone X – who claims that their supplement is able to induce not only fat loss but lean muscle mass as well.

Because of the systems it’s connected with, CLA has actually been researched a lot more than other ingredients – in the interest of figuring out how the PPAR system works. Unfortunately, none of these studies have actually resulted in a significant amount of weight loss.


Results on the effectiveness of CLA seems to vary depending on the study that is being done – making it hard to get a clear answer to whether or not it will actually help with weight loss. In some cases there are positive results and other negative.

A longer study had been conducted, with a larger subject pool. This study had lasted for a total of two years, and the obese individuals had averaged around 1.7 – 2.8 kg in the two year long trial. It should be noted that there were no obvious effects in the first year, and there has been no proof to show that the lean muscle mass of the person’s studied had changed.

Now, whilst the study had resulted in fat loss, the results are not really significant enough to count for much – especially considering the length of the trial. JST Jodie Tone X’s manufacturer also isn’t able to back up the lean muscle mass production that they promise upon taking the supplement.

Recommended Dosage

The label suggest around 1-2 soft gel pills be taken per day, with around 1,000 milligrams of conjugated linoleic acid, that results in a daily dosage of around 1,000 – 2,000 milligrams per day.

Supplementation of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) tends to be in the range of 3,200-6,400mg daily, taken with meals.” This makes the recommended JST Jodie Tone X dosage, a lot lower that what has been proven to work – or at least, lower than what had been used in the studies involving CLA.

Does it Work?

In theory? JST Jodie Tone X works very well in theory. The science behind conjugated linoleic acids and the PPAR system – which induces fat loss, is still a mystery that is needing to be solve. Researchers will continue trying to answer this question for a while. Because there is no doubt that CLA does affect our body’s ability to burn fat.

The question is, how well does it work when supplemented? To be quite frank, not very well. Definitely not well enough on it’s own. The saving grace lays on the honesty of the manufacturer that produced JST Jodie Tone X – as they had known that this particular supplement would be best used with other supplements.

It does work, if given the chance. It might also work better if used with other fat burner supplements. However, on it’s own merit – it’s not very effective.

Is this something I would recommend? In a way yes, because of the cheap price and the proven semi-effectiveness of the ingredient, this is something that I would recommend to be used with other supplements. This is not something that can be recommended on it’s own.
