This is the second review of a Fit Affinity fat burner. The first we reviewed was Fit Affinity Tight Tummy For Her Review. Lean is their primary fat burner offering and a product that is a fairly big improvement over Tight Tummy.
Lean Fat Burner uses a blend of mostly proven fat burning ingredients to help speed up your metabolism and also ensure your body uses stored fat reserves for fuel.
You get a total of 90 capsules, which is 45 single servings, or 3 capsules per day over a month. This isn’t too shabby in terms of price, but is slightly under the 4 capsules offered by the more premium fat burners.
Fit Affinity Lean Fat Burner Core Ingredients
Fit Affinity have chosen some solid and proven ingredients to go into Lean.
It’s important when you are choosing a fat burner that you choose something that is completely natural and allows you to supplement it for a longer period.
The female supplement brand have opted to mix fat burning herbs and powders with some well known amino acids too.
Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients in Fit Affinity…
You heard right, cayenne pepper is actually used in fat burners, and for a good reason. It’s capsaicin content causes a warming effect in the body that improves blood circulation and burns calories. Having 100mg of capsaicin is good enough for the fat burning properties to be effective, through fat burner supplements or otherwise.
With people getting more and more aware about obesity these days a lot of them are rushing to having green tea since its said to have the ability to boost metabolism through catechins and caffeine whilst keeping side effects at bay. And that’s actually true. Several studies have proved that having green tea every day can boost metabolism to such an extent that its possible to burn 200 calories a day without adding any further exercises to your workout regimen.
Caffeine is one of the most popular stimulants usually consumed in coffee and green tea. But, apart from increasing alertness and boosting energy it also boosts metabolism and mobilizes fat to be used as energy. It also improves the ability of other metabolism boosters such as bitter orange. It’s especially used by athletes as the ingredient allows them to perform better and improve their physical stats. You’ll need to take 250-300mg of caffeine evenly throughout the entire day to prevent jitters and ensure maximum effectiveness.
Though L-Carnitine is generally used in supplements, fat burners take a lesser dosage of the ingredient but that’s still enough for its effects to kick into action which include increasing fat burning and optimizing performance by taking the fat directly to the mitochondria where the energy is generated in the body. It’s also good for maintaining blood vessel health and heart rhythm, making it a viable option to prefer for people suffering from a high cholesterol count.
Your body’s ability to send nerve impluses is kept in check by acetylcholine, whose production is actually kept in check by choline. When it comes to fat burning, choine also influences metabolism of cholesterol and fat in the body aside from helping in maintaining cell membrane health which is also quite important to fat burning even if it’s an indirect effect.
Citrust Aurantium is also known as Synephrine or bitter orange and is found in the unripe fruit of Citrus Aurantium. It exhibits a lot of properties that are similar to ephedrine but doesn’t get converted to methamphetamines. Its effects include raising of body temperature (thermogenesis), fat breakdown and a boost in metabolic rate. It suppresses appetite to some extent as well. However, the catch is that the similarity with ephedra makes it exhibit certain side effects similar to the aforementioned compound as well.
Fit Affinity Lean Fat Burner Dose
2 capsules per day gets you a serving of the ingredients in Lean.
But is this enough? We’re not completely sold, as whilst you can get some good results from these ingredients, they are a little low on the dosage.
Especially when you compare Fit Affinity’s fat burner to premium brands like MusclePharam of Instant Knockout.
It is good that you can use up to 3 capsules per day though, as this means you will spread the effects fairly evenly.
Fit Affinity Lean Fat Burner Side Effects
The combination of Citrus Aurantium and Caffeine has been know to cause some unwanted side effects such as headaches, nausea and sickness.
It’s worth being very careful when you start to supplement a product that contains both of these, and so we’d recommend testing your tolerance with a single dose.
Luckily Fit Affinity have put lower doses in Lean. And as such you may not experience anything too bad.
Fit Affinity Lean Fat Burner Review Conclusion
We like Fit Affinity Lean Fat Burner far more than Tight Tummy.
It’s blend of ingredients are much more effective and are actually proven to work. However it doesn’t quite get to the level of premium fat burner.
Generally, as a woman, you can use exactly the same fat burners as men. So don’t let the pink colors and smaller doses sway your decision when you could have a premium product like something from our top 3.
