For our Carbon Pre Workout Review, we’ll be looking into the Carbon Prep It’s a Pre Workout supplement that is produced by BioLayne. This review should give you a better understanding as to what goes inside of these supplements and how they work.
The Carbon Pre Workout is a growing brand, and it’s gotten a lot of attention in recent times. It’s a supplement that is meant to help improve your workouts by:
- Providing Energy,
- Providing Nitric Oxide to improve the flow of blood inside of the body,
- And finally, enhancing focus and endurance
That’s a tall order for just one supplement, and this Carbon Pre Workout Review will check to make sure that every single one of those needs are met.
Carbon Pre Workout Ingredients
Of course, the first thing we’ll be talking about, are the ingredients used inside of the Carbon Pre Workout formula. There are a total of 9 ingredients. That is a pretty good number for a Pre Workout supplement. However, there’s enough in there that we’ll have to be careful in checking out whether any of the ingredients are underdosed.
This is one of the best ingredients that one can find inside of a Pre Workout supplement. It’s been proven to help improve pumps by providing nutrients that helps loosen your veins. Allowing better blood flow to your muscles.
It’s on the lower side of the recommended dose (6-8g) however, there’s definitely enough in there to be effective!
Another workable ingredient that we like to see inside of supplements. It’s well-researched and proven to work. It boosts your strength and keeps you working inside of the gym for longer periods of times.
Sometimes popular ingredients are not necessarily the best. Betaine Anhydrous is found in a lot of Pre Workout supplements. However, its supposed effects have never been proven. Furthermore, it’s been connected to a particularly nasty side-effect that we’ll be talking more about later on.
Cocoa Seed Powder
This is an ingredient most of us are probably familiar with. Chocolate is believed to help improve the flow of blood inside of the body. Now, don’t get too excited. Although the ingredient is assumed to be good for that, it’s not very effective at all, and no studies can confirm it to be true.
Alpha Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline (Alpha-GPC)
Although there is a study that claims that the Alpha GPC is a good ingredient, the results are rather unreliable. Also, it comes with a set of side-effects that you’d no doubt prefer to stay away from.
A comeback from the aforementioned ingredients. This is an ingredient that has actually been proven to reduce the effects of fatigue after a workout. It’s also known to improve focus inside of the gym.
Although this is an ingredient that is known to improve cognitive function, it is also known to cause some horrible side-effects that make it a very risky ingredient.
Where to buy Carbon Pre Workout
The Carbon Pre Workout is sold at around $34.97 per container. Unfortunately, each container only contains 20 servings. That makes this an expensive supplement, as most Pre Workout supplements contain at least 30 days worth of servings.
Carbon Pre Workout Side effects
There are a couple of ingredients in the Carbon Pre workout that are a cause for some concern. Which is a shame, this supplement could have been great. However, the fact that there are many potential side-effects has us turning back on what could have possibly been a stellar review.
These side-effects include:
- Betaine: Fishy Odor
- Alpha GPC: Heartburn, Trouble sleeping, Headache, and Dizziness
- Huperzine A: Nausea, Diarrhea, Loss of appetite, and impaired eyesight
Carbon Pre Workout Results Review and Expected Effects
Although the Carbon Pre Workout had come out strong with a set of powerful ingredients, it had its own fair share of setbacks. Specifically, a lot of the ingredients inside of it cause some kind of negative side-effect.
There are plenty of other supplements out there that should be able to provide the same benefits without the added risk. Not only that, but most of the problematic ingredients inside of the Carbon Prep were pointless, they had no reason to be in the Carbon Pre Workout.
A real shame. However, don’t lose hope yet! Because there are better alternatives out there. Ones that provide the same kickass benefits- without the risk.
