A1 Plus+ Thermo Ingredients
We started this off by hyping the ingredients quite a bit, but is it really all that? Well, before we break it down for you, let’s talk about first impressions. After a while, you can start to get a feel for the quality of certain supplements just from the first couple of ingredients that it has listed.
And, fortunately, A1 Supplements do show their ingredients — as well as disclose what they’re meant to do in the formula. So, without going into too much detail, I can confirm that, at first glance, the ingredients on the A1 Plus Thermo are legitimately proven-to-work. So, that’s a plus. However, as for whether or not all of the ingredients on here are actually effective fat burners.
Well, that’s another question altogether.
This is especially true when you look at the very first ingredient on this list, which is not exactly a fat burner. A shame, but not necessarily too bad of an issue. Enough being vague though, let’s dive straight into the details!
Acetyl L-Carnitine HCI
The first ingredient is definitely the most controversial. It’s a very common ingredient. You see it literally everywhere. Even in big brand names that really should know better. Now, we’re being really picky about this, because as of right now, there’s no real evidence that this ingredient works.
The way A1 supplement describes it, Acetyl L-Carnitine HCI (ALCAR) is used here in order to increase metabolism, improve insulin sensitivity, and provide focus without the jitteriness that comes from the more caffeinated options available in the market. However, even though there are studies that have looked into this subject…
So far, nothing’s turning up green. It’s neither a yes or a no in the fat burner scale. Which means, that we can’t really attest as to whether it will work for you or not.
Green Tea Extract (50% EGCG)
Fortunately, things start to live up a little more to the hype as we get to the next ingredient. EGCG, as they refer to it (although it’s more commonly known as Green Tea Extract), is another very popular fat burning ingredient.
However, unlike the previous ingredient, EGCG is actually proven to work. Specifically, it’s one of the most well-known actual thermogenic ingredients in the market. As it is proven to increase your metabolism. What’s more, they got the recommended dosage pretty spot on — at 500g per serving.
Caffeine Anhydrous is another ‘controversial’ ingredient. Not necessarily in a bad way though. Because you’d be really hard-pressed to find a good supplement out there without caffeine in it. It’s very effective. Not only at providing the energy that you need in order to burn fat, but also as a metabolism booster.
The only real issue here is the fact that there are expected side-effects. Side-effects that, for the more sensitive, might result in nasty shakes or energy crashes. A1 Plus has 225mg of Caffeine Anhydrous per serving. Which is not as bad as it could have been. It’s definitely a lot more tolerable than most.
If you’re really concerned by the potential side-effects. You can halve your serving the first couple of days and build up resilience as you go — which is what is usually recommended for most fat burners anyways.
Capsicum Fruit Extract (Capsimax)
We have another great ingredient up next with Capsimax. Outside of Green Tea, it’s another well-known thermogenic ingredient that is known to actively burn fat (with little to no effort needed on your end.) A1 Supplements has also included the standard dose in their formula, so you can be sure that it will work for you!
Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract)
Bioperine is one of the only non-fat burning ingredients out there that can ever justifiably be included in a fat burning supplement. Because, even if it doesn’t have thermogenic properties, it’s pretty great at pushing the overall formula — as it boosts the effectiveness of certain ingredients!
Where to buy A1 Plus+ Thermo
If you want to buy the A1 Plus+ Thermo, you can do so for $29.95 per bottle on the A1 Supplement’s main website (where they sell the rest of their available supplements.)
A1 Plus+ Thermo Side effects
There’s only one ingredient on this list known for its side-effects, and that is Caffeine Anhydrous. Which, as we mentioned earlier, can cause jitteriness, energy crashes, and the loss of sleep.

A1 Plus+ Thermo Conclusion
If we add up everything we’ve discussed thus far, you get a pretty solid fat burning supplement. It’s not going to be the best supplement in the market. For that, we recommend that you have a look at our Top 3 list of fat burners.
However, it does make a pretty good stand — at least, in comparison to some of the more over-hyped fat burning supplements out there. There’s no doubt that you’re going to be getting actual fat burning ingredients with this one, and it does it at a fairly affordable price too. Which might just do it for you, if that’s your prerogative.
