Physique Nutrition Burn Review

By | July 31, 2017

Fat burning is a fairly slow process without the assistance of a solid fat burner. Physique Nutrition are a smaller company with fairly decent range of supplements.

Burn is their fat burner. A simple name for what initially looks to be a fairly reasonable product.

In terms of branding and packaging, Physique Nutrition’s Burn is a strong looking product that uses a blend of herbs and vitamins to help speed up your metabolism and get your body burning through stored fat as fuel.

Ingredients wise Physique Nutrition have done a fairly reasonable job with Burn. Although there does look to be a couple of fairly risky ingredients in here that may actually cause more harm than good.

Physique Nutrition Burn Core Ingredients

Fat Burning Ingredients Index

It’s essential, if a fat burner is going to work, that it has the correct doses of proven ingredients.

Whilst we are impressed with the care that has seemingly gone into other Physique Nutrition Supplements, there seems to be a few flaws with the fat burning blend in Burn.

Physique Nutrition have included some absolutely essential fat burning ingredients, which is great to see.

The dose and serving are high too, so the ingredients that are in there, should prove effective.

Physique Nutrition Burn Ingredients

Choline

Choline is vastly important to creating acetylcholine which is critical to the body’s ability to send nerve impulses. A member of the B- Vitamin family, it is vital to brain function and health.
As well as influencing cell membrane health it also influences the metabolism of fat and cholesterol in the body.

Caffeine

Green Tea is very popular amongst health and fitness enthusiasts in recent times. Especially as it has been found that when combined with caffeine, it can boost your metabolism far beyond what caffeine can do alone.
Studies have shown that it can increase your metabolism to the point of burning an extra 200 calories a day without added exercise. 500mg of Green tea is perfect in a fat burner.

Synephrine

Also known as bitter orange or Citrus Aurantium.
Synephrine is the compound found within the unripe fruit of Citrus Aurantium. It has been shown to have the same effects as ephedra or ephedrine, without being able to be converted to methamphetamines.
It is shown to increase metabolic rate, fat break down, thermogenesis and also shown to decrease a person’s appetite.
Due to the similarities however, it can also cause similar side effects. Especially when combined with other stimulants.

L-Tyrosine

L- Tyrosine is important for neuromuscular function. It has been shown to effect mood, satiety, stress response, mental function, and even sex drive.
It is a non-essential amino acid which is synthesised within the body from the amino acid phenylalanine.
It also has a major role in producing melanin in the body and this is imperative for defending the body against ultraviolet light.
As another amino acid, L-Tyrosine benefits from higher doses. (500mg+)

Green Tea

Green Tea is very popular amongst health and fitness enthusiasts in recent times. Especially as it has been found that when combined with caffeine, it can boost your metabolism far beyond what caffeine can do alone.
Studies have shown that it can increase your metabolism to the point of burning an extra 200 calories a day without added exercise. 500mg of Green tea is perfect in a fat burner.

Physique Nutrition Burn Dose

You get a decent serving of each ingredient that goes into Physique Nutrition’s Burn.

This is made even better by the fact that this fat burner spreads its dose over 3 capsules. Exactly what you need when you are trying to cut away fat.

3 capsules means your body is using fat as fuel with an increased metabolism for as long as possible through the day.

Physique Nutrition Burn Side Effects

The problem with Burn, is the use of Synephrine.

Whilst the amount of stimulants isn’t massively high, Synephrine, when taken in conjunction with things like caffeine can cause you unwanted side effects.

These side effects can cause problems like Headaches, nausea and anxiety.

We’d recommend testing your tolerance with Physique Nutrition’s burn, just taking a single capsule and giving it a few hours to see how you react.

Physique Nutrition Burn Review Conclusion

Physique Nutrition have done a good job with Burn, especially the way it looks.

Whilst you’ll get some thermogenic effects from the ingredients used, and also a solid amount of energy, the risks of side effects is just too high. Meaning it won’t be making our top 3.

For the money you pay though, this is a fairly reasonable fat burner…and you should feel the burn.
