Defiance Hardcore is a fat burner that promises to help your body defy gravity. This fat burner, from supplements company Defiance looks pretty cool.
But you’re here because you want to shred down as fast as possible. And a solid fat burner can really help that process.
Using a supposed blend of fat burning herbs and ingredients, Defiance Hardcore looks to have some effective and proven ingredients.
Becoming shredded is only going to happen if you put in a bit of effort with training and diet. Defiance Hardcore isn’t a miracle capsule, and whilst it’s ingredients are ok, they are not industry leading like MusclePharm Shred Sport or specialist fat burner Instant Knockout.
Defiance Hardcore Fat Burner Core Ingredients
The ingredients in Defiance Hardcore are completely natural, which is essential if you are wanting to burn fat long term.
Fat burning has only been proven to occur as a result of handful of ingredients, on a scientific level anyway. Whilst Defiance Hardcore doesn’t contain them all, it does certainly carry some fat burning weight.
Be a little wary of Citrus Aurantium in this product, especially as it contains caffeine too.
Chemically similar to the compound Synephrine (found in Citrus Aurantium), it is believed to help fat loss. Currently there is no clinical evidence to suggest that it can reduce fat in humans.
This ingredient is the product of clever marketing and should be avoided if you want a fat burner that works.
Caffeine is a staple supplement to modern day life. It is a highly effective stimulant in how it boosts the metabolism, mobilises fat to be used as energy and suppresses appetite.
As well as this it can boost the effects of other metabolism boosting products, such as green tea or bitter orange.
It has long been used by athletes, and non-athletes alike, in order to increase alertness, endurance and longevity.
This is essential for a fat burner. You need around 250mg-300mg dosed evenly through the day for best results.
Green Tea is very popular amongst health and fitness enthusiasts in recent times. Especially as it has been found that when combined with caffeine, it can boost your metabolism far beyond what caffeine can do alone.
Studies have shown that it can increase your metabolism to the point of burning an extra 200 calories a day without added exercise. 500mg of Green tea is perfect in a fat burner.
Also known as bitter orange or Citrus Aurantium.
Synephrine is the compound found within the unripe fruit of Citrus Aurantium. It has been shown to have the same effects as ephedra or ephedrine, without being able to be converted to methamphetamines.
It is shown to increase metabolic rate, fat break down, thermogenesis and also shown to decrease a person’s appetite.
Due to the similarities however, it can also cause similar side effects. Especially when combined with other stimulants.
Defiance Hardcore Fat Burner Dose
You get 2 veggie capsules in each serving of Defiance. So that’s 60 capsules per day.
This is slightly under what a premium fat burner would use, as you ideally want to keep your metabolism as fast as possible for as long as possible when using a fat burner supplement.
Each individual ingredient is reasonably well dosed, but doesn’t match up to the higher doses you see in top 3 fat burners, which is a little frustrating.
Defiance Hardcore Fat Burner Side Effects
You don’t want side effects when you are trying to lose fat. It’s hard enough as it is, without feeling sick and wanting to give up early on.
Side effects you could get from Defiance Hardcore then, are mainly due to it containing citrus aurantium.
When combined with other stimulants, reports of headaches, nausea and sickness are fairly common.
Defiance Hardcore Fat Burner Review Conclusion
This is a fairly solid fat burner when it comes to it’s ingredients. They’ve not filled it full of unproven and weak fat burning herbs, but instead opted for a set of proven and reasonably dosed fat burners.
The product looks great and is pretty affordable too. But it just doesn’t stand up against our top 3 due to the potential side effects and the slight under dosing of the serving size.
